Ideal for architecture, landscape and art photography
Dynamics and extensive image information can be detected immediately when shooting with the Samyang 12 / 2.0. The short focal length of 12 mm gives you the convincingly large image angle of 99 °. The surface of the image is almost 6x larger than the standard focal length. Expressive photography stands in the way. The high light intensity gives you operational safety - at dusk, in the interior, or outside in fog or rain. The close-up limit of 20cm is helpful for dynamic image composition. Focusing and aperture adjustment are done manually.

Excellent image quality thanks to multi-coated lens surfaces and nano coating
For an excellent imaging performance great emphasis was placed on an optimal lens design. Two of the 12 lenses are aspheric for excellent aberration correction. In addition, a lens made of ED glass (extra low dispersion) is made, that you recognize the fine color drawing. All 12 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections and provides the picture with more light. In addition, the coating brings a better contrast and a more brilliant color reproduction. 2 lens surfaces are nano-grade, which ensures even better beam passage.

Small, light and compact
The wide-angle lens by Samyang is built and calculated for system cameras. It convinces by small dimensions (72 mm length) and light 235 g. The lens is available in black or silver.

Using an APS-C lens on a full-frame camera
Lenses designed for cameras with APS-C sensor can be used partially (mainly using an adapter) on cameras with full-format sensor. Due to the much smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, however, the edges are displayed in black. The usable range of the image photographed with a full-frame camera thus corresponds to that of a camera with APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be trimmed in the post. Using APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is possible, but not recommended.
