Unique perspectives
With the compact 14mm wide angle lens from SAMYANG, unique images are created. The wide angle is more than the standard objective when the distance is the same. The 14 / 2.8 wide angle lens is suitable for the whole range of wide angle photography, but especially for landscape photography and indoor shooting. The pronounced depth of the wide-angle images offers space for creative photography.

Enormous width and large depth of sharpness
The lens has a short focal length and uses the advantages of the APS-C image sensor. With a narrow focus distance of only 28 cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suitable for sharp and contrast-rich images from a short distance. Thanks to the excellent light intensity of 1: 2.8, optimal shots are possible even in unfavorable light conditions.

High quality optics
The outstanding imaging performance is due to the elaborate optical system. This consists of two aspherical ED lenses (Extra Low Dispersion), which reduce chromatic aberration. This results in recordings with a balanced color balance. The permanently installed backlight prevents the disturbing, lateral light incident and lens reflections, which would lead to loss of contrast.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with APS-C sensor
Save time in post-processing. A variety of lens errors such as distortion, edge blur, or vignetting appear on the outside of the image. If you are using a full-sized lens on a camera with APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This gives the maximum quality. Additional post-processing time for correcting lens errors is thus eliminated.
