TTL and automatic variable zoom setting
The zoom reflector can be adjusted manually from 24 to 105mm in 6 levels. That way you can adjust the light angle to match the used lens. The wide-angle diffusion disk even allows a light angle with a focal length of 18mm, which makes the system flash suitable for wide angle illuminations.
Comfortable use and flexible settings
The output of the FW 930 can be adjusted from 1/128 to 1/1, which allows a very fine tuning of the power output. The illuminated display allows you to easily read your settings even in the dark and facilitates potential adjustments. Both a socket for connecting an external battery pack as well as an X sync socket are built-in. That way, it is possible to work even longer with the FW 930, and to trigger in sync when using it as an external flash device, respectively. The S1 mode activates the built-in photo / sync cell while S2 activates the pre-flash function.
Indirect flashing
The white reflector disk reflects a part of the light in the direction of the motif and the rest is passed on indirectly, e.g. via the ceiling. That way the system flash ensures an even illumination and the formation of shadows behind the motif is reduced substantially. The ability to flash indirectly, by turning the flash reflector horizontally or tilting it vertically, also reduces the formation of shadows behind the motif.
Good workmanship and extensive accessories
The system flash by walimex is crafted in a high quality. The flash shoe is made from metal and built extremely sturdy. Due to the low wear a long lifetime is guaranteed. In order to use the FW 930 as an external flash, a flash stand is included, which you can use to set up the flash without a tripod. A transport bag is included to protect and safely transport the flash.
